Imagine – from a 1200-square-foot apartment on East 89th Street in Manhattan to bucolic Chagrin Falls! A family has rented my house and they are on Cloud Nine.

They have three daughters aged 6, 4 and 2, and the girls all share a bedroom in New York! hey have a little dog,, too, a pug. He is a banker with Key Bank, very nice, classy, well-bred, and he kept saying, “We will take good care of the house.” I feel good about them! They want it for six months; they will buy a house in Chagrin in the interim and hopefully sell that cramped Manhattan apartment (not cramped for NYC, I know!)

He also has to buy a car. He doesn’t need one in New York. He even says he will root for the Indians now.

Getting a real estate agent to list the house was a very good idea; within two days of the listing I had a renter, and more people were interested, including one person who asked my realtor if I would be willing to sell.

hree days left!  Now I can begin packing and moving valuables out of here. Still too much to do, but I am  relieved that the house issue is settled. I hope it doesn’t blow up when I am gone.hen I am gone.

Dahlink, that is great news!! What a relief. Even I was getting a little anxious for you. But you know, things work out when they need to.
So I assume you’re sitting around twiddling your thumbs, just waiting for your Sunday(?) departure.
    Bon voyage!
